HISTORY

Master official Margaret Sheehan created the USATF Foundation in 2011. Long time USATF official and referee, George Kleeman, led the activities of the Foundation until his passing in 2018. George left the foundation with a generous endowment, effectively allowing his legacy to continue fostering the development of Track and Field athletes in the Pacific Association.

In the ten years of the Foundation's existence, we have awarded dozens of grants to athletes. The Foundation is proud of its history and affiliation with our Olympians.
