Our Grant Process

September: Determine our Financial Resources

Based on donations and sponsorships during the previous fiscal year, establish a budget and fund-raising goals for Athletes and Coaches for the upcoming fiscal year.

November/December: Invite Coaches to Apply

Coaches clinics vary yearly on topics, location, and schedule.  The Foundation works with the Pacific Association to recruit and provide grants for local coaches to attend the clinics.

January/February: Invite Athletes to Apply

Both the indoor and outdoor track & field seasons are eligible for support.  Athletes will vary in their support goals and needs, depending on event specialties, available meets, and conditioning goals.

February/March: Award Grants to Athletes and Coaches

Appicants are evaluated based on their plans, needs, and potential contribution to the sport.  The Foundation board enlists members of USATF Pacific to participate in the vetting.

March-August: Monitor Grant recipients

The Foundation Grants come with requirements for general reporting on activities and the benefits of the Foundation's support.

Enjoy the year of Track & Field!
